In the large capacity the subway is oneof the fast traffic tools, also is one of the symbols of the modernization of the city. Theperfection and intensity of the subway system represent the economic ability and thelevel of modernization. However, beacause the subway is too deep under the ground,obturating, crowded, complex, the ventilation and smoke-evacuating is very restricted,once the accident and emergency occurred, not only will cause casualties and hugeeconomic losses, but also the political and social on the stability of the influencegreatly. Therefore, the safety of the subway is especially important, and this need toour people do our best, so the safety quality of the subway passengers is verynecessary.Modern safety culture considers that people are the most active factors, theperson is not only the object of protection but also the source of the disaster which isdifficult to control. Therefore how to improve the safety quality of the passengersmust be solved to reduce the risks of errors and disaster. For this reason, this articleresearchs on the safety quality of the subway passengers.This article is based on the safety quality and concepts related, safety systemprinciple, the accident-causing theory and safety culture theory. The application ofsampling technology is studied by means of questionnaire. The design of thequestionnaire is differentiated by gender, age, occupation, education level, frequencyof taking the subway and the situation living in Beijing, which including the basicsafety consciousness, safety behavior, safety knowledge, safety skills of the subwaypassengers and the advices in operating safely from passengers and other aspects ofthe content. There are29objectivly selective questions and a subjectivly suggestiveproposition in all.The safety quality of the subway passengers is base on example of metropassengers in Beijing. the passengers contain all kinds of person, such as teenagersand the old, including different kinds of identity, profession and education level. The questionnaire data analysis is based on the overall safety quality analysis and safetyconsciousness, safety behavior, safety knowledge, skills and the classification of thesafety factor analysis and the relationship between them which including differentgender, age, occupation, education level, frequency taking the subway by and thesituation living in Beijing security of passengers.On above basis, severalcountermeasures are put forward from the point of view of the government, the metroand the social power. So that the safety quality of the passenger is improved andimproving the safety quality of the passengers and the subway construction of safetyculture are realized.
