| Urban system and highway traffic system is the region economy development to acertain stage of the inevitable outcome. The relationship between the two is to promoteeach other and restraining each other, is a kind of profound interactive coordinatingrelations. Because of our country in recent years accelerating urbanization and the mainroad construction and improve continuously, the main highway and city node in therespective produces in the process of interaction and mutual promoting more and moreobvious relationship, between them the mutual relationship between the city andhighway bound to further construction development profound influence. If the cityexpansion too fast, open trunk road gradually will be surrounded by city, transit trafficcan interfere with the traffic in the city, cause congestion. The main road layout isreasonable, it will affect the service on the city node social economic benefits andenvironmental benefits, even affect the city node potential of development. This showsthe main road network is support the development of city important rely on, itsdevelopment strategy for the future of the city to space form, in the main highway andcity among nodes set up to promote each other and the relationship, can make the cityand the region economy, society, population and environment harmoniousdevelopment. Therefore, in order to be able to more profound analysis highway and citylines to the development of the relationship between nodes, in order to achieve effectiveto solve both problems in the process of development, this paper this deeply research.This paper starting with detailed discussion of city node, discusses its concept,law, reason, power and feature in its development, and sums up the relation ofdevelopment of city and highway transportation under different stages of economicdevelopment and different city space types. Secondly, the two focuses in this paper areresearching the influence between city node and artery highway and analyzing thestructure of the joint system of the artery highway and city node. In the first part, wesummarize the character and the function of artery highway,research the influence fromartery highway to the development, layout and land using of city node. In the second part, we analysis the traffic demand of the artery highway, and study how do scale andlocation, feature of economy development, layout of the city node influence the arteryhighway. The study of joint system also has two parties: one is the through method; theother is the connection networks between the artery highway and urban road system.Finally the paper testifies the conclusion through Benxi’s urban system and roadnetwork. |
