Energy crisis and environmental contamination were paid more and moreattention nowadays. The people have to look for effective solutions as the problembecoming more and more serious. New energy vehicles have become hot researchtopic in recent years. With its own advantages and characteristics, Plug-in HybridElectric Vehicle has most advantage of development potential in HEV. Theadvantages of EV and conventional HEV are combined in PHEV, and has virtue ofenergy saving and emission reduction. It not only can run a long distance in EV mode,but also can increase the driving range in HEV mode while the energy of battery islow. Series-form was selected by comparing of the merits and demerits of series-form,parallel-form and parallel-series form in this paper.Because many performances of battery cannot meet the request for utilization ofvehicle, battery becomes the bottlenecks of PHEV. The safety performance of batterydirectly determines whether it can be installed in vehicle or not. The battery is like abomb and will lead to serious consequences if not be undeservedly controlled or used.The life of battery cannot reach the life of vehicle. If the battery must be replaced inusing process, the cost is not small. It increases use cost and reduces the marketcompetition ability of the car. Two main features were studied, the reasonable controlstrategy and control flowcharting were made in this paper.Formulat the energy distribution control strategy is one of the cores. Based on thebattery safety and life ability, a reasonable vehicle control strategy was formulated.This is mainly embodied in the choice of control parameters. According to thedifferent operating conditions of vehicle, control strategy was made detailedly andrespectively, so as to the control flowcharting. At the end of this paper, energy distribution control strategy model and battery temperature control model wasestablished. Simulation analysis was made according to different circulationconditions. The simulation results show that this control strategy is reasonable andvalid. Battery safety and life ability can be guaranteed effectively.
