The electric car program as conventionalcars to pure electric vehicles in the transition process a transitional technology, whichcombines the advantages of hybrid vehicles and pure electric vehicles, at the sametime to make up for the defects of the other two models.Extended-range electric vehicle to rely on extended-range (engine generator) andbattery pack as an energy source, in order to drive vehicles of the motor pure electricmode driving, to solve the problem of pure electric vehicle driving range compared tothe hybrid vehicles, but also improve theengine and battery performance, to achievethe role of energy conservation.Extended-range electric vehicle program as most industrial prospects of a newenergy automotive technology, many governments, businesses and partsmanufacturers have invested heavily in research. This group bear a company electriccar vehicle controller for A0-level increase in program development "projects,conducted in-depth research and development of vehicle control strategy forExtended-range electric vehicle program.In this paper, the Extended-range electric vehicle program for the study, and researchcomponents of the power system and vehicle fault diagnosis and fault-tolerantcontroller algorithm development.The first chapter analyzes the status of domestic and foreign Extended-rangeelectric vehicle program, the Extended-range electric vehicle program, the definitionof the power system structure, analysis of the automotive fault diagnostic techniques and research.Chapter Ⅱ on the basis of the research programs increase electric vehicle systemassembly works with the system structure, each component may be the type of faultand diagnostic methods, research, and its failure mechanism analysis and processingmethod set up the framework of the typical failure of the power system components.Chapter Ⅲ vehicle communications network CAN bus communication principleand main type of failure, developed a distributed control system of CAN-based faultdiagnosis and fault-tolerant systems, analyzes the fault information and processing,and to develop a CAN bus and some typical power system fault tolerance strategy.The fourth chapter the typical failure of the power systems of Extended-range electricvehicle program and the CAN bus diagnosis and fault-tolerant strategy for thedevelopment of the algorithm. Analysis of the functional definition of the mode ofoperation of the vehicle controller of the electric car program, the development ofcontrol algorithms using Simulink system of fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant strategy,the establishment of the fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant modules in the vehiclecontroller VCU.The fifth chapter is the validation of fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant algorithms,virtual test bench. Based on dSPACE, fault and fault-tolerant strategy, VirtualSimulation Test Platform, a virtual simulation of the power system and the CAN busfailure, verify the functionality of the fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant system. Whiletaking advantage of the rapid control prototyping technology experimentalverification of the motor torque correction, the last bench in the battery power systemfault warning test and verify the feasibility of the proposed fault diagnosis strategyand fault-tolerant algorithms.
