In recent years, accidents caused by windage yaw flashover of transmission lines occured frequently, its frequency has exceeded the limit of safe operation on electrical power system.Insulator Strings Windage and Transmission Line Windage are important factors of windage yaw flashover, appearing vertical, horizontal and the total force to make both deviating from the vertical position phenomenon, no matter what kind of deflective situation, which will damage the safe operation of the power transmission lines.especially after the use of composite insulator string, the Situation with lighter materials and longer length, which often led to windage yaw discharge, transmission line trip-out, transmission line electric arc harm, wire disconnection and broken stocks, etc. The most essential reason for the faults is the formidable natural conditions,which cause the clearance of the conductor/hardware-structure air gaps decreased.When the clearance cannot satisfy the requirement of lowest spark flashover voltage,the spark flashover is occurred.By collecting, summarizing and analyzing the domestic and foreign research on transmission line windage yaw,This article compiles windage yaw angle calculation program. some quantitative analyses of some parameters are also mainly discussed including Wind speed、wind pressure coefficient and wind height factor. Secondly based on the situation of our country, the article analyse the existing computation model of windage yaw flashover for Insulator string For model’s defects, on the one hand, analysis minimum air clearance considering the practical situation of wind direction; on the other hand,The article provide a new computation model of windage yaw flashover through the stress analysis and simulate by matlab considering stress’s Real-time changes to research the influence of the minimum air space. conduct contrast analysis,the results can provide some useful references and theoretical basis for HV transmission. Finally, Some prevention measures about flashover caused by windage yaw are put forward,which will optimize the design and make the faults caused by wind decrease largely and analysis a typical kind of wind monitoring system working principle.The main work in this thesis is listed as follows:(1) Based on analysis about swing angle design documentation of transmission line home and abroad,Study the influence law of windage yaw angle by parameters including wind pressure asymmetrical coefficients wind pressure coefficient and wind height factor;(2) Analysis of the Static calculation model, the suspension point lead the force, and then fix the calculation model of windage yaw angle, and to verify the theory;(3) Research the real-time algorithmson of the clearance of the Suspension Insulator Strings-structure air gaps the for wind state;(4) A test is performed to study the effect of wind speed on the discharge voltage on fixed model.Some prevention measures about flashover caused by windage yaw are put forward for existing model’s defects;(5) Introduces operating principle of a small wind monitoring system;(6) Summary and Outlook;...
