With the continuous development of the society, tall buildings an d super-tall buildings constantly emerging, structure contained steel reinfor ced concrete vertical conversion system has been more and more. Steel re inforced concrete and reinforced concrete composite system existes the ver tical conversion problem that there is a mutation in bearing capacity态r esist lateral stiffness and in material performance,which would lead to for m a weak layer in the convert floor.To avoid the appearance of weak lay er, some strengthen measures can be done to the layers which maybe wea k,aiming to make the stiffness and strength of the structure vary gradually. At present, the study on the theory of the vertical conversion system is not too perfect, which need the further in-depth study.The thesisi analyses the steel reinforced concrete cylinder column-conversion period by ANSYS, a universal finite element analysis software. The main aspects of content are listed as follows: 1.The thesis analyses the transformation of the column section between the steel reinforced concrete column vertical conversion in transition layer and the reinforced concrete structures by nonlinear finite element analysis.It also discusssed stress, strain distribution, deformation and failure mechanism in these places of the structure.2. Aiming at the steel disconnect in the transition layer,the thesis analysed on the mechanical behavior of the reinforced concrete columns part.According to the results of the tests by computer simulation, the thesi s analysed the failure mechanism of the convertion column in different1oad and the influences of axial compression ratio, the longitudinal reinforc ement rate, the longitudinal steel ratio,stirrup ratio and the steel strengthen to the shearing resistance capacity of steel reinforced concrete column an d reinforced concrete column.3."Short column type" damage easily appeared in the reinforced concrete column part of steel reinforced concrete conversion column beca use of its own particularity.According to the analysis on the mechanical c haracteristics,it is necessary to take measures to avoid the shear failure fra gility. The paper research the mechanical performance of SRC column column section in SRC structure in the vertical direction of the conversion and put forward some suggestions and references for future study and design.
