City urbanization brings us not only economic prosperity and people’s livingstandards improve, but also an excessive concentration of population and theincreasing of municipal solid waste. The development of the municipal solid wastedisposal project construction directly impact on the process of urbanization. Thesanitary landfill method, a convenient waste disposal technology, has been widelyapplied in many cities in China. The key technology for building a sanitary landfilland prevent environment from polloution is the sanitary landfill seepage control andanchoring technique. The project aimed mainly at steep sidewall slope sanitarylandfill. Using the method of combining experimental and theoretical studies onHDPE membrane anchoring technique.The experiences show that the friction angle in dry condition is less than underwet, and the greater the contact area, the difference is greater. The reason may be dueto the bound water, strong bound water could make geotextile synthetic fiber surfacearea bigger. The roughness of HDPE surface directly affects changes of friction angleand cohesion. Rough HDPE film friction angle is generally greater than the smooth,smooth HDPE film cohesion is generally greater than the rough.Based on the theory of limit equilibrium, under the condition of different slope,height, friction parameters and anchoring section, the rest of force, tensile force andanchoring force analyzed and calculated in the study of anchoring technology. Theresults show that: tensile stability of HDPE geomembrane is obviously affected bydifference cohesion Caand friction coefficient.Based on the finite element software ABAQUS, the maximum verticaldisplacement of landfill material occurs in the top of itself, and the horizontaldisplacement of the maximum occurs at the vertex close to landfill slope; imbalancetensile force make geomembrace deformation significantly; ABAQUS does not takeinto account the cohesion, the value from software simulation is always greater thancalculated by the limit equilibrium method.
