In recent years, energy issues always plague the world, resources and energy is non-renewable and scarce increasingly, coupled with instability of the Middle East, oil prices is becoming higher and higher, the crude oil bring imported inflation which can plague the decision-making of the government.It can also bring uncertainty to the world development of economic.The defect in the development of pure electric vehicle is batteries.The ideal material is LiFePO4right now,but lithium is still in the preliminary stage. It is necessary to design a system to protect the lithium battery system to extend the life of LiFePO4battery and maintain its capacity, which can improve the driving range of electric vehicles.A functional system of protection board circuitry was designed according to the work characteristics of the LiFePO4battery pack, and two sets of balanced circuit according to the different balance model of the battery pack Then experiment campair the two balance models.This article is focus on introducing the hardware design of the protection circuit board, a detailed analysis based on the idea of conservation programs and modular design is in the system battery protection control chip, circuit module, circuit design and hardware implementation of the balanced circuit module, for commonly used different battery equalization method, the two representative balance control program are designed, and this two equilibrium strategies will be simulated and designed with hardware circuit, and validate the influence of different equalization schemes for the battery protection system.This system is divided into two parts that is charge and discharge Balanced module and protection module.The system use the HY2112battery protection chip, with the real-time acquisition of battery voltage,current and temperature to prevent battery over-voltage, over current, over temperature, so that the battery pack can be more secure to work to extend battery life, increase mileage.In this paper, the design of the hardware circuit of protection is cheap, reliable,and has strong anti-interference ability, the protection of LiFePO4batteries can be achieved by experimental tests,while the equalization circuit capability can also meet the requirements.
