Wind power as new energy technologies.Wind power will take place of some other ones which inefficiency and need large Invested.As wind power capacity to be expanded,it is very important to operate researches on the stability of grid wind farms. When power system protection action happened need a certain short time, it is very important to the power system stability of wind generator can through the short time zone and keep not off-grid operate.This paper take the doubly fed induction generator(DFIG) as the research object, based on MATLAB/simulink simulation platform, analysis and research the impact of doubly fed induction generator when have faults on grid.Paper established the air dynamics model of wind turbines, established the shaft system model of wind turbine and generator, Deriving the doubly-fed induction generator dynamic and steady-state model. Key-research in the doubly fed induction generator(DFIG) rotor side when join unloading circuit(crowbar), converter DC-link joined capacitor, generator exit side joined SVC device in the external power grid failure,research the cross (uninterrupted) operation control and protection technology.Finally, building the simulation model in MATLAB/simulink platform, simulate and analysis the three different methods, improving the ability of low voltage ride through of doubly-fed induction generator.
