The Research On Space Of Jinsitao History District In Beijing Shishahai

In this paper, the main object of study is the alley, courtyard and buildingspace of Beijing Shichahai Jinsitao. First, through the research of historical data,this paper combs the region’s history development, studies spatial variation of thisarea. And then through field research and field visits, this paper tries to find out thealley, courtyard and construction of the region’s current situation. At the same time,this paper uses the field measurements, mathematical analysis, and related buildingspace theory from neighborhoods to study the region. Finally, through thehistorical analysis and the aforementioned research, this paper summed up thefactors for the spatial form of the region, in order to promote a deeperunderstanding and soften the architectural theory of the East-West fault for thetheory of classical Chinese architecture, as well as to improve the understanding,conservation and utilization of the space of the traditional historical and culturalblocks.According to the research of Jinsitao District and realistic annlysis andinvestigation, this paper also hopes to tell people recognize this district’s history,acquaint the space character and current situation, rouse people to enhance theprotection consciousness of Chinese traditonal architectural complex and historicaldistrict. At the same time, this paper hopes to provide some historial and realisticfoundation for futrual sustainable protection, perservation and tourismexploitation.
