| Traffic flow with smooth state is great significance for road traffic safety. But the trafficflow is not always in a stable condition. Because there are many factors may cause short-termtraffic incidents on road, the factors include people, car, road and so on. The disturbance canhave influence on the road traffic safety and decrease the traffic safety level. So it is necessaryto analyze the law of the traffic flow when it is in disturbance. But the problem is that it is noteasy to analyze the law, because it is difficult to get the data and the theoretical derivation bytraditional traffic flow theory formula is too complicated. This research can rich the theorysystem of traffic flow simulation, and the conclusions can have very important theoreticalsignificance to improve the traffic safety level.At first, this paper explained the background and source of this research, and analyzedthe current situation of the traffic incident detection and traffic simulation. Then the accuratedefinition of short-term traffic incident was introduced, the differences and connections of theshort-term traffic incidents and no-short-term traffic incidents were also analyzed. In the thirdchapter, the features of the traffic flow on the urban arterial road were discussed, then theshort-term traffic incident detection model for urban arterial road based on learning vectorquantization and data fusion was introduced, and the experiments were used to prove thevalidity of this model by using VISSIM software. In the fourth chapter, the IR and INS ruleswere introduced by using the theory of cellular automata, and the rules of upstream area,central area, and downstream area were also established, the upstream area, central area, anddownstream area are caused by a short-term traffic incident, then the traffic simulation modelbased on CA for simulating the traffic flow in short-term traffic incident was fully established,and finally the MATLAB7.0software proved that the simulation model was validated.Finally in chapter5, the double lane cell transmission model was established by using celltransmission model, then the changing mechanism was analyzed when a short-term incidentwas occurred in double lane cell transmission model, so the whole traffic simulation modelbased on double lane cell transmission model for simulating the traffic flow in short-termtraffic incident was established, then the software proved the validity of this model. |
