With the frequent occurrence of disasters in recent years and more frequently and the related financial and social losses increase rapidly in the recent years,the governments have built some kinds of disaster prevention parks to tackle the problems.However, there is no help to the strength of people’s disaster prevention awareness,the negative impact caused by disaster has not diminished.The project research presents a new kind of Disaster Prevention Park with the name of Education Experiencing Disaster-prevention Park, which combines the construction of f material engineering system and the construction of social system together. There are three major functions of the park. Firstly, it helps to complete the green space system of urban disaster prevention. Secondly, it enhances the construction of material engineering system. Thirdly, it promotes the construction of social system effectively as it plays the role of the main education places.The project research used the cases of the Japan’s Miki park, Beijing Shuguang Disaster-prevention Theme Park and Beijing Haidian park to examining the development experience of disaster prevention park both at home and abroad at first. And on the base of case study,the writer raised the construction situation and the main problems of disaster prevention park in China——insufficient、unevenly distributed、unreasonable planning, non-standard、not unified and undefined of related emergency shelter facilities construction, relatively backward technology、deficient Professional Staff and lack of related propaganda and education. At the same time,it is also pointed out that the enlightmen about the planning and design of educational experience disaster prevention park in China——Emergency shelter facilities correspondence to disaster prevention level、 establishment of experiencal project、strengthening the management training of the professional stuff and cooperation with the social organization of the park cooperation、 promoting social propaganda. Finally, through the case study of the Concept Design of Wai Huandi educational experience disaster Prevention Park in Heze city,Shandong Province, to explore the construction of Education Experiencing Disaster-prevention Park more deeply.Innovative Points of the project research are:(1) It summarizes the experience and enfficient of the disaster prevention parks and green space in Beijing,though the study on them at present;(2) It puts forward the concept of disaster prevention education experience park on the base of the combination of peace-time and disaster-time,and the combination of material engineering disaster prevention system and social disaster prevention system;(3) It take the concept design of Wai Huandi Eudcational experience disaster prevention park as carrier, investigate the related theory on the planning and construction of disaster prevention park in practice, and explore targeted expression of the theme——educational experience.
