The automotive industry is one of the main supports of China’s economic sectors. With the rapid development of today’s automotive industry, the performance of the car being continuously improved, the demand for cars is more vigorous, however, traffic accidents become more frequent and more serious dangers, vehicle safety has become particularly important. The automotive airbag is the most of the performance of vehicle safety performance, when the vehicle collided, automotive airbag systems can greatly reduce the harmful levels of the crew if the airbag in the event of a collision in a timely manner open, will greatly enhance the degree of harm of the crew. Therefore, the stringent requirements on the quality of the airbag are necessary.Automotive airbag quality traceability system is the airbag in the production, installation, and tracking the quality of the airbag in the car after use judgment, decision-making system. The system is combining the actual production of Autoliv, based on multi-sensor information fusion technology and the use of bar code technology to track and ultimately achieve the establishment of the traceability system of the quality of automotive airbag. In this paper, the contents of the following aspects:(1) Rlying on Jilin Province, a major scientific and technological projects, research, based on Autoliv’s production system, analyzing the various factors affecting the quality of retrospective.(2) Use of the existing a priori knowledge of the automotive airbag assembly processes to build and train a multi-sensor fault diagnosis system of a self-organizing neural network SOM; collected through the site of the multi-sensor equipment operation data input fault diagnosis system, SOM neural networks self-organizing clustering performance, the type of failure in the assembly process; in addition, using an improved SVM information fusion algorithm (LSSVM) motor fault diagnosis.(3) The use of barcode technology products and bar code data correspond to airbag production line data repository, and to achieve product quality and traceability of airbag production line to be investigated.(4) JAVA SWING use the SQL SERVER2000of database development the front interface at the same time, and last through the TCP/the IP communication protocol to achieve the foreground and background of the local database (server-side database) the data exchange, and, to achieve production line data real-time monitoring, storage, traceability, statistics, a series of functions.Airbags quality traceability system can greatly reduce the quality of automotive Safety, it has broad application prospects.
