There is a huge amount of pores and cracks existing in natural rock mass. And it is great impact on geotechnical engineering that water flows in these pores and cracks. Both hydropower projects and mining engineer have to face the reciprocity and influence problems caused by human engineering interference, rock mass stress and groundwater permeability stress. Large numbers of engineering practices show that the interstitial flow analyses and reasonable control measures to a large extent improve safety and economy of the design engineering.Over the past10years, with the development of national economy, the scale of capital construction is expanding. Human develop the space. Meanwhile, the development of underground space is constantly deepening. These large rooms and deep tunnels experience extremely complicated geological conditions, high stress, high water pressure problems. And comparing with the general stress and the permeability pressure, the combined effect of high stress and high permeability pressure display itself inherent specificity and most difference about rock mass deformation and damage control methods. Around the problem, this paper makes the comprehensive, systematic and in-depth testing study of mechanics and hydromechanics about rock-like sample with filling joints. The main research works have carried out as follows:(1) According to uniaxial compression tests, multi-sample with different kinds of filling joints can be study the law of fracture from initiation, widening, transfixion to destruction and its characteristics of the stress-strain curve. It is useful to analyze the geometrical features of structural plane, such as the joint opening, transfixion rate and joint roughness and other effects. Meanwhile, with the different load conditions the confining pressure play a role in failure mechanism and mechanical properties.(2) High confining pressure and high pressure water permeability testing research of the intact ones and filling joint ones can be carried out by using the modified equipment based on existing2000KN universal servo-machine. These can be studied that permeability variation rule of different samples under the stable high water pressure and different high confining pressure, strength and deformation characteristics affected by environmental conditions and structural plane and the law of fracture from initiation, widening, transfixion to destruction altered by confining pressure and water pressure.(3) The data results should be analyzed and compared caused by different experimental conditions and different samples. Failure mechanism and mechanical properties could be known by using fluid mechanics, rock mechanics, fracture mechanics and elastic-plastic mechanics. Meanwhile, an overall trend may be gotten.
