The Research Of Experiment And Structure Modified On Car Airbag

With the increasing of the percentage of car, car accidents are increasing. Hugecasualty and economic loss are caused in car traffic accidents all over the world. Eachcountry accords great importance the problem of car safety. Practice shows that in carcollision accidents airbag is very important and effectual protection facility, whichbecomes essential safety device for car in European. In our country, after21st centuryairbag has been fixed up in all of new cars. However, the problems of airbag producedby each car company research and development level lead that the protection effectwhich should be improved is not satisfied. Aiming at improving the protection effectof airbag, this paper mainly research the way of modifying and validating airbag.Following aspect has been researched in this paper:(1) Finding out the real situation of SUV car airbag on experiment, collectingstatics and videos on air collision breakage, we analysis the fault existing in airbagand the fault reason that the time of air inflation is too long or not enough in airbagfire.(2)In order to improve the fault existing, the way of modified airbag whichmainly concern on safety airbag has been put forward. Experiment shows that the wayof modified airbag is feasible.(3)Car experiment has been caught out to check the effect of airbag. Theexperiment show that the effect of airbag modified meets the car demand.(4)Using C-NCAP judging criteria to judge the modified airbag, being judged bythe library of national control checking centre, the modified airbag has reach five-starlevel.Generally, by the way of combining theory ethical analysis with experiment thesafety performance of airbag which achieve the aim of five-star level for SUV car isbeen improved. This paper is of certain theoretical and practical importance.
