Continuously Reinforcement Concrete Pavement (CRCP) is the kind of pavementthat a sufficient number of bars are set along the whole longitudinal direction foreliminating the deformation of concrete slab caused by longitudinal shrinkage, and nopavement joint is used.As it has been proved by a large amount of domestic andinternational experimental researches and engineering practices,CRCP is a high leveleconomical pavement with long service life. The comprehensive analysis of the stressresponse of the CRCP structure is significant for us to promote the development andperfect the design and construction methods of this type of pavement. In this paper, the CRCP structure is investigated with referencing the relativedomestic and international literatures and studies.Firstly,appropriate3D finite elementmodel is built by ABAQUS based on the elastic multi-layer system theory,of whichthe T3D2module is used for steel and C3D8R model is used for other parts.Secondly, from the calculation by finite element model, the surface layer modulusand thickness, the basement modulus and thickness, modulus and thickness of the soilsub-base modulus, crack width, crack spacing and the influence of bar diameter tostress in longitudinal reinforcement at the CRCP local void and no void of transversecracks. Then the pavement temperature field finite element model of CRCP is establishedfor analyzing thermal stress of steel reinforcement at the place of CRCP local voidand no void of transverse cracks. Finally, simple analysis of fatigue fracture of thelongitudinal reinforcement in CRCP and a brief introduction to the CRCP Voidtreatment method are provided in this paper.
