With the rapid development of computer technology, CAD (Computer Aided Design), along with CAE (Computer Aided Engineering), has gradually become an essential part in designing, developing, and manufacturing products. Finite element analysis technique, the key technique of simulation analysis, also tends to be put into use more frequently than ever before, its use has shortened the period of production R&D to a large extent, and in the meantime lowered experimentation cost, and provided the productions with a favorable theoretical basis as well.Based on the finite element analysis software-ABAQUS, this paper develops a finite element analysis software on valve train:The secondary development provides the user with a friendly graphical user interface (GUI). It makes it possible for the users to complete the analysis of stress and strain of the components and parts of valve train by simply modifying the relevant parameters, instead of caring all the specific operation process, by means of parameterized modeling.Based on secondary development, parameter analysis can be realized successfully by the following steps. First, modify the parameter measurement by amending scripting language. Second, parameter analysis can be automatically accomplished in the backstage. Then, the corresponding impact curve could be drawn out and a fair reference is ready for the subsequent development. |
