Along with the rapid development of China’s economy, urban traffic problemshave become China’s major cities of the conundrum problem. It is one of the obstaclesfor the sustainable development of national economy in China. This thesis aims totraffic problems in the present situation, selects ChengDu city as the research objectwith RS, GIS and traffic simulation technology. The paper discusses the problems andresearch on the vehicle travel optimal path search for traffic management reasonablydistributes traffic flow and the travelers find a optimal route of travel. In the paper,thestudies are as follows:First of all, this paper analyzes the present existing traffic problems andinvestigates and summarizes researches about domestic and international dynamicroute guidance. The paper puts forward the research background and significance, andsets up the problem solutions and the roadmap.Secondly, through the RS and GIS latest technology, proceeds to do imageclassification interpretation and reasonable division in the streets and the traffic zonestype of the research area, completes the traffic zones and the road network diagram ofthe research area.Thirdly, researches on the travel rules of each morning rush hour traffic zone onworking day, through road traffic planning in the technology; Using the regressionequation in every community, gets every community travel quantity; researches theproductions and the attractions of travel balance; using the gravity model, gets thetraffic distribution (PA matrix), and changes it into OD matrix.Fourthly, using traffic simulation technology in the research area, establishestraffic simulation road network, and combines with OD matrix of the research area, proceeds to do the dynamic traffic simulation of the research area in the morning rushhour on working day.Fifthly, determines the time cost as road weights, and in dynamic trafficsimulation process collects different time information of each road.Finally, researches the different paths inquired algorithm, and compares themerits of the different paths inquired algorithm, chooses A*algorithm as this paperpath inquired algorithm. Using A*path inquired algorithm base on the street dynamictime weight in the research area gets a travel time shortest path of theorigin-destination point. By comparing the most short path from the origin-destinationpoint, confirms the travel time shortest path can help travelers to efficiently savetravel time.
