As the climate of seaside is so complex, and nearly all harbors are striked by strong typhoon or qusty every year, the paper did a fluid-structure interaction research on port cranes. Besides, the influence between two same cranes in one wind field was also analyzed to come up with the anti-wind strategy with several cranes. What’s more, the research also did an analysis on the collision situation of two cranes. At last, some theorial methods and technique supports were offered for the users of port cranes.The main research content includes the following aspects:(1) Research of port wind field’s characters and CFD theoryBy introducing the basic characters of wind field and its mathematic describing quomodoes, the proper describing method in computational fluid dynamics was ensured. Besides, in order to seek the proper mathematic modeling mathods of wind load, this section did a analysis on computational fluid dynamics basic equations and the simulation methods of turbulent fluid.(2) Theory and solution methods of FSIBy expounding the principle of fluid-structure interaction theory, some key issues in FSI were analyzed and researched in detail, including Lagrange-Eular method, FSI locomotion controlling equations, coupling interfacial conditions, data transfer on interface, solution to coupling equations and so on.(3) Study on collision vibrating theoryWith the study of multiple regid body dynamics theory, solution to its kinematics equations, conservation equations in structure collision, and boundary conditions, the paper did an detailed analysis on colliding simulation, including its nonlinear characters, sandglass controlling methods, operation methods on interfaces, calculation of friction force and so on.(4) FSI analysis of single crane and several cranesThe research proceeded a CFD data simulation and analysis of a single crane, and calculated the information in structure and wind field, including wind load composition of force and moment in each axis. In addition, the paper also did a simulation of two cranes in wind field, and analyzed their interaction of each other. At last, some strategy and theorial methods were offered for port cranes’anti-wind research.(5) Analysis of cranes’sliding and colliding on tramroadBased on the simulation of two cranes’collision when sliding on tramroads, this article analyzed the collision vibrating modality of their main structures, and did a Fourier analysis of the vibrating curve. Then we conpared the Fourier analysis with the frequency modes of these structures. Finally, based on the simulation results, this research offered ports cranes managers some theorial support and inproving strategy in collision research of harbor cranes.
