Bridge is the important component element of communications and transport,is the major matter foundation of human society’s progress. Ancient working people use their wisdom created the arch bridge, because of its great caPacity across, beautiful shape, better durability, easy to use local materials etc, and thus arch bridge is widely used gradually. Rigid-framed arch bridge is in truss arch bridge, inclined leg just bridging etc developed on the basis of a new bridge, belong to the high times have thrust the static set structure. Rigid-framed arch bridge has less component, light quality, integral sex is good, rigidity, construction is simple, low cost, modelling aesthetic advantages, resulting in active service in a large bridge still exist.But with the increase of traffic flow and bridge the growth of the use time, many rigid-framed arch bridge appear structure, damaged, aging deformation is, cracking and other diseases. The bearing caPacity of the bridge dropped significantly, even become unsafe bridge. If you don’t take measures as early as possible, may cause catastrophic consequences. Because rigid-framed arch bridge itself carrying potential is low, coMPared with other types of bridge, disease appear rate is higher. Normally, long-sPan rigid-framed arch bridge of the most common disease is chord and just the point where cracks, so long as has the disease rigid-framed arch bridge, mostly have this kind of crack. But of reinforced concrete member for, as long as the crack width not more than allow value, also belongs to the normal use.
