| Radial steel gate due to structural features and the unique advantages thatmake it become the most widely used in hydraulic structures in China.The mainframe of main beam and arm is the core part of the force transmission structurewhich is composed of panel,beam grid,main beam,arm and trunnion.Safety andeconomy of the whole radial steel gate depend on the reasonable layout of themain frame.At present,radial steel gate structure optimization study got a lot ofachievements in the size optimization and accessories optimized,such as sizeoptimization of the beam grid,optimization of the connection number andsize,optimization of number and arrangement of the chord member etc.But simplythe size of the optimization is not really on the optimization,The design of thestructure obtained by this optimization method is not the optimal structure.To getthe most optimized structure should first be optimized layout,so the sizeoptimization should be based on the optimization of structure layout.But theresearch of the radial steel gate structure layout optimization is rarely,especiallythe main frame of the radial gate layout optimization work done less.Design method of plane system is calculated by the structural mechanics andthe allowable stress method,which is a classical design method of radial steel gate.In this paper, start to the design method of plane system, and according to thesteel structure stability theory and GB50017-2003, the main frame layoutoptimization model is established,and determine the objective function andconstraints.Then introduced the principle of radial steel gate arm layout whichbased on SQP arithmetic of optimization theory,and applied it to the improvementof the main frame structure.Space finite element method is a new design and calculation methods whichcould reflect the overall stress state and the spatial effects of the radial steel gateand more and more applications in the analysis of the radial steel gate.This paperaccording to the principle of radial steel gate arm layout,improve the main framelayout of two design examples,and use ANSYS12.0software to establish thethree-dimensional finite element model of the four structures.Through thecomparison and analysis of the solution results show that the improvement of mainframe layout effective improve the stress state of main frame,significantly enhanced the strength and stiffness of the main frame,the improved main framelayout is more reasonable than the original structure.This shows that theimprovement is necessary and effective.This from space finite element method ofview,to verify the rationality and reliability of the principle of radial steel gate armlayout which based on the design method of plane system.Through the work done in this article,shows that effect of the width-heightratio of the outlet and the total water pressure can be considered for reduce theblindness of design practices. |
