Chi na has rich offshore oil r esourses, in the exploitation of offshore oiland gas, the runni ng condit ions of offshore platform piping is directlyrelated to the safety of offshore oil and gas fiel ds. As the important part ofthe offshore oil and gas producti on system,offshor e platfor m pi ping wil lcollide,fr acture or become corrosion destroied,etc, when under the effect ofexter nal envir onmental load, causing serious economic l osses andenvir onmental damage.Therefore, anal ysing t he risk of offshor e plat for mpiping, buildi ng r easonabl e integrity management system of offshoreplat for m piping to ensur e t he safe operation of pipeline,has importantsigni fi cance in the expl o itati on of offshore oil.This essay mainly evaluates the pos sibility of the offshore pipelinefail ure and its consequences fr om th e angl e of risk and reviews of thegener al methods and t heories of eval uating the offshore platfor m pi pe risk.Application of ultrasonic guided wave test t he accur acy of detectingpipeli ne defect s detection positi on, the results can offer managers moreeffecti ve remedial proposal. The mai n content s and achievements of thethesis are summarized as follow:1. The r esearch has establi shed a relatively complete failure fault treeof offshor e plat for m pipe,calculati ng minimal cut sets of fault tr ees, gi vingthe calculating method of solving the probability of the pipingfail ure,meanwhil e, givi ng and si mplifying the computati onal for mular o fprobability importance degree coefficient of basic event and pointing outthe practical importance of solving probability importance degreecoefficient of basic event in risk anal ysis and pipeline integritymanagement.2. Ultrasonic guided wave technology has so good sensiti vity and t heaccur acy that it can make t he Long distance pipeli ne defect detectionrealize, moreover, analyzi ng t he application Long distance pipeli ne defectdetecti on of the Guided wave t echnology i n different t emperat ur es. Theresults show that the Gui ded wave technology can make a good per for mancein Long distance pi peline defect detect ion i n di fferent temperat ures. 3. From t he Ultrasonic gui ded wave detection, we can confer that Mainfail ure factors of t he Off-shore pipeli ne i s t he corrosion.4. Fr om t he discussion of the Ultrasonic gui ded wave technology inPipel ine detection, summarizing t he factors whi ch infl uenced t he Ul trasonicguided wave det ection, besides explaining the li mitation in pipelineinspection of Ultrasonic guided wave technology.This st udy has lai d t he foundati on for t he theoretical research andtechni cal application of t he offshore pl atfor m pi pelines, whi ch is based onthe i ntegr ity management met hods of ri sk anal ysi s.
