In recent years, with the expanding size of the power system, the complexity of thegrid multiplied with the development of society, people increasingly high demand forproduct quality, the quality and reliability of the power of the power supplyrequirements also rising, which is a higher demand on the power grid monitoring andcontrol capabilities. Grid monitoring and control system, need to access many powersystem nodes scattered in a wide area within the electrical parameters, these parametersneed to be synchronized acquisition of the analytical value, this time to ensure that eachnode of the clock synchronization is particularly important. In response to theseproblems related research, primarily for the purpose of planning and establishment ofwide-area high-precision clock synchronization system to meet the needs of the powersystem monitoring and control. The content of the paper is as follows:Firstly it explains the significance of wide-area power system clocksynchronization, and research in the field status and clock synchronization system in thepower system, and then describes in detail a variety of clock synchronization methodsand strategies, analyzes the advantages of various method sand inferiority; combinedwith the master-slave clock synchronization accuracy and reliability requirements, andclock synchronization network communication path optimization requirements. On thisbasis, the overall architecture of wide-area power system clock synchronization, and thearchitecture into account the GPS power clock communications network, andhigh-precision oven-controlled crystal characteristics of timing, punctuality, and to builda high-precision master clock module; consider the main the main requirements-fromthe clock synchronization between strategies and synchronization network pathoptimization of the communication protocol of IEEE1588V2, Lord-from the clocksynchronization, intelligent algorithm to the reconstruction of the synchronization pathin order to achieve dynamic network-from synchronous network as soon as possible tothe purpose, to meet the requirements of the power system clock accuracy andreliability.In this power system clock synchronization architecture, including the two cores:high-precision master clock, high-precision clock synchronization strategy. In this papera detailed analysis of the pros and cons of the various clock synchronization methodbased on GPS+power synchronous communication network+precisionoven-controlled crystal oscillator, composed of three high-precision master clockmodule, synchronization accuracy compensation method for clock accuracy maintained,to ensure that the interruption of the GPS and communications, the master clockaccuracy and reliability can be maintained; precision clock synchronization strategybased on the IEEE1588V2mode of communication, the use of improved ant colonyalgorithm for dynamic network re-institutions, to ensure that the main-from the smoothcommunication between the clock to ensure that the main-from the clock between reliable and efficient communications to improve the timeliness and robustness of timeto reach from the clock to maintain high accuracy requirements.
