The human mainly utilize the coal, oil and other fossil fuels in the energy structureof20th century.With the appearance of the environmental issues and the consumptionof fossil fuels, all the countries in the world tried to find and develop the new energysources. The power of solar radiation to the earth is huge and pollution–free, soconsidering of the protection of the environment and energy issues, the developmentand utilization of PV are meaningful. Basing on the fuzzy control technology,thisarticle made the research and design of the controller on the charge and dischargebatteries in PV systems.First of all, I introduce about the development of the current situation. analysis ofthe corresponding mathematical model and the battery charge and dischargecharacteristics. On the theory of fuzzy control rules, I establish a rational to achieve fastand effective for battery charging strategies, so that the charging current curve as closeto the Mass ideal curve. Photovoltaic characteristics of charging and discharging system,the main power circuit diagram of the overall design of the system, analyze systemhardware part and software part of the function.Then, according to the requirements of the hardware of the system, the hardwarecircuit of system is designed, the lightning protection circuit and anti-battery reversepolarity protection circuit are designed, the DC/DC circuit is designed, thecharacteristics of the DC/DC circuit is analyzed, using the TL494chip to achieve thecontrol circuit of the PWM signal, according to the requirements of the software part,making the design of the sampling circuit to the battery voltage.Using the fuzzy control technique, according to charge and discharge of PVsystems, photovoltaic charging process was achieved. According to the requirementsof the fuzzy control technique, the appropriate fuzzification, fuzzy reasoningreconciliation and fuzzy method was established. accounted for by changing the powerswitch air ratio to achieve the purpose of quickly and efficiently charge the battery.Finally, using of MATLAB software, PV systems using the fuzzy control techniquewas simulated. According to the simulation results, analysis using fuzzy controltechnique to achieve the advantages of battery charge and discharge control, fullyreflects the fuzzy control-based photovoltaic battery charge the validity of the dischargecontroller design method.
