ADSS is used as guidance cable access to substation communications equipment where is near Substation, calculated the ADSS cable suspension point position Substation transmission network in the network mode use the entirestation unified type network, stand accused of layer of network based on TCP/IP protocol of Ethernet, spacer layer network adopting field bus nets or Ethernet.Second, the paper design the configuration parameters of the substation communications equipments, including optical transceiver, pulse code modulation (PCM) equipment, communication power supply, the router and so on.Finally, This paper according data transmission requirements of the current transformer substation in China, design two kinds of communication delay performance simulation scheme:one method is PSCAD software and NS2software combination to simulation, and the other is the MATLAB software to simulate the substation transmission network communication delay. The simulation results show that the communication delay in transformer substation transmission network meet in real-time.
