As the reliability of reinforced concrete structure is the common difficulty in practicalengineering, the study on the time-dependent reliability forecast is of great importance. Thecore issue of the time-dependent reliability forecast of reinforced concrete structure based onresistance attenuation is how to define and calculate the resistance attenuation in actualsituation. Through the natural diffusion method, the diffusion coefficient which is close to theactual situation could be obtained and used in the actual reliability forecast after furtherrevision. This essay will demonstrate the reliability forecast of reinforced concrete structure ofinfrastructure as nuclear plants based on existing research achievement and statistics ofnatural diffusion through the study on changing rules of diffusion coefficient against time.The study of the essay focused on below methods and achieved the positive result:1. Refine the valid diffusion coefficient in natural diffusion based on the “step by stepmethod”.Study the diffusion rules of chloride ion with the natural immersion of reinforcedconcrete through the trial test of natural diffusion. Raise the “step by step method” based onthe trial result and confirm the valid chloride ion diffusion coefficient at various age through“step by step method”.2. Establish the refined attenuation model of chloride ion diffusion coefficientConfirm the changing rules of chloride ion diffusion coefficient against natural diffusiontime through confirming the concerned reference figures of attenuation models by non-linearfitting method, on the basis of combined trial result of natural diffusion and current researchachievement of study on attenuation rules of chloride ion diffusion coefficient.3. Raise the refined chloride ion diffusion modelApply the refined chloride ion diffusion coefficient attenuation model in the Fick’ssecond law and raise the refined chloride ion diffusion model to conduct the time-dependantreliability forecast of reinforced concrete structure.4. Conduct the reliability evaluation against the reinforced concrete structure of TaishanNuclear PlantConfirm the time-dependant reliability forecast model of reinforced concretestructure which is applicable to the third generation of Southern Nuclear Plant. Raise thedurability parameter and proposed the concrete mix proportion which could meet the servicelife of sixty years. Conduct the temperature analysis against the pump house of TaishanNuclear Plant and ensure no leaks due to temperature deviation to enhance the accuracy offorecast on the time-dependent durability of reinforced concrete. Discuss the influence of thetemperature impress to the durability life of reinforced concrete.
