A Quality Control Study On Expressway Construction Organization Design

Construction organizing design is the overall planning of the project management, it is the comprehensive technical and economical document to guide technique management and site construction, and scientific and proper construction organizing design can have direction and coordination role for site construction, so it is very important for the construction company to prepare the feasible and effective construction organizing design. However, due to many factors, many companies’construction organizing designs are almost the same, they lack consideration of the specific project’s characteristics, and their sciences are not enough. Such construction organizing designs can not effectively achieve the aim of construction organizing designs.In this paper, adopting the methodology of combining the literature study, expert investigation and case study, the existing main problems, guiding principles and main contents of construction organizing designs are induced, the construction organizing design’s influences upon project construction stage cost and the mutual relationship between the construction organizing design and the project quality plan are first analyzed. Then, combining the traditional line-function system construction organization and matrix system construction organization, a new type of construction organization structure model is designed; the contents and steps of the general construction organizing deployment, and the elements, procedures and method of the construction organizing design audit are put forward. Finally, combining the real situations of the second construction contract section of the Zhangjiajie-Huayuan expressway project in Hunan Province, China, the scientific and effective construction organizing design are prepared, achieving very good control effects in quality, cost and schedule, and obtaining the good comments from the local government in-charge departments, the Employer, the supervision company and the main leaders of the contractor. The research results should have important guiding role for the improvement of the expressway construction organizing design quality.
