With the development of mechanical systems to the small size、high integration and the trend of multi-functional, the heat flux generated by the system is rapidly increasing, traditional forced air-cooling mode can not satisfy the cooling needs.Micro heat sink based on micro channel cooling technology,with the characteristics of small size and high thermal efficiency, can achieve efficient heat conduction in a small area, to provide the most promising solutions for the cooling of the micro-mechanical systems. Based on the above, this paper investigate the effect of micro heat sink fluid channel microchannel s structural parameters on the main flow characteristics and heat transfer characteristics, analyze the micro heat sink working fluid flow and heat transfer law, to provide a theoretical reference for the improvement of micro heat sink thermal performance and structural optimization,the main work carried out in this paper:First, numerical simulation research on the micro heat sink with different fluid channel cross-section shape of rectangular, triangular, trapezoidal and semicircular was carried out, the results show that, under the same conditions, the micro heat sink with rectangular fluid channel has better heat dissipation performance.Secondly, theoretical studies on fluid flow and heat transfer characteristics of the rectangular channel micro heat sink was carried out, to describe the flow characteristics with the drag coefficient and total pressure drop, to describe the heat transfer characteristics with the Nu number, the theoretical expressions of the drag coefficient, total pressure drop, convective heat transfer Nu number was established, respectively, theoretical predictions under different hydraulic diameter and inlet velocity was obtained.Finally, numerical simulation and experimental studies on the flow and heat transfer characteristics of rectangular channel micro heat sink was carried out, and compare simulation and experimental results with theoretical predictions, draw conclusions, and analyze deviation causes,correct theory calculation of flow and heat transfer parameters, draw more applicable flow and heat transfer expressions in the micro heat sink.
