Distributed generation(DG) technique,as an aid for centralizedpower supply, could effectively alleviate the pollution to environment and energyshortage, improving the security and safety of the power supply, which is maindevelopment trend of the electric power industry in all countries around the world.The optimal allocation of distributed generation grid-connection sets great challengesto power grid planning.The definition of distributed generation,several kind of common distributedgeneration and its grid-connected technology is instructed. The effect of distributedgeneration in smart-grid is analyzed Strategy for grid-connected distributedgeneration based on bionics is proposed. The effects of accessed distributedgeneration in distribution network on active loss, quality of the electric energy,protection of grid are illustrated. The effects of distributed generations’ locationschange and outputs change are simulated based on power system analysis toolboxPSAT. Distributed wind generator model and distribution network model are builtbased on MATLABï¼Simulink and the impacts of the wind generator connected to thedistribution network for system faulty conditions are simulated and analyzed.The Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO) algorithm is illustrated and someimprovements are carried out.The improved PSO algorithm is used to solve optimalallocation of distributed generations in distribution system. The example indicates thescenario proposed can get reasonable site and size of distributed generation connectedto distribution network,effectively reducing power loss.When the distributed windpower generations are connected to the grid, the randomness and intermitteney ofwind power would bring uncertainly to the distribution network planning,whichshould be taken into account in the planning of power grid. The expected value modelof wind power generation was established,the solution to optimal allocation ofdistributed wind power generation is designed. Based on bi-level programmingtheory, the optimization model including network loss, voltage deviation isestablished.
