Liquid-vapor two-phase flow and heat transfer are widely used in heat exchangers of industry of dynamics, nuclear energy, chemistry, petroleum and so on. The thesis attempts to design an experimental system with high-precision measurement and investigate the heat transfer characteristics of two-phase flow-inside a single aluminum flat tube.The main contents of the thesis are as follows:1. A literature review of heat transfer on two-phase flow was completed, and an analysis of the test bed design was completed.2. The design of a test system on heat transfer characteristics of two-phase flow inside a single aluminum flat tube was completed, while the procurement of equipment、building test system and debugging test system were completed.3. The experimental studies on the heat transfer characteristics of the two-phase flow inside a single aluminum flat tube was carried out, and the formulations were selected to predict heat transfer coefficients and frictional pressure drop of R22in a single aluminum flat tube. Besides, the research of two-phase flow pressure drop and heat transfer characteristics was carried out.The experimental bench for heat transfer characteristics of two-phase inside a single aluminum flat tube is set up on the basis of plenty of documents at home and abroad. Influence of many kinds of factors on the heat transfer performance of two-phase flow can be tested by changing experimental conditions such as saturation temperature and mass flow rate. The pump is used in the circulation loop instead of a compressor to insure the steadiness of system pressure while the water-bath system is used in the pre-heater which can provide more uniform heat flux and is better in operational safety.
