A Study On Space Radiation Area Of Major Cities In Sichuan Province Based On Spatial Neighborhood

Spatial neighborhood is one kind of the important spatial relationships, whichgenerally refers to a kind of spatial relationships that there is no other object existingbetween the two space objects which are directly adjacent to each other. Spatialneighborhood is a means for people to know the relationships between the twospatial neighborhood objects with the aim of obtaining the quantitative relationshipsbetween the spatial objects through the qualitative, quantitative study on therelationships of the two spatial neighborhood objects.The relationships of the administrative divisions between the city and city on thesurface can be called spatial neighborhood relationships from the perspective ofspatial relationships. It is a certain spatial relationships which associated with forms ofthe administrative divisions. With the development of socio-economic and theacceleration of the process of industrialization, population, resources and other factorsof urban development gradually gather together towards the urban, in particular, theattraction of large cities towards the surrounding areas and their leading role inregional economic development become more and more obvious. The reasonabledetermination of the development of the regional area of cities to the effects on theneighborhood cities, that is the city space radiation range, is an important aspect in thestudy of regional economic development.This paper selects21major cities in Sichuan province and their formation of5big economic zone as the research object, comprehensively analyses the18indexes ofthe four aspects of comprehensive strength of each city according to the features oftheir spatial neighborhood from the economic strength, infrastructure construction,scientific research and education, information and communication, utilizes theimportant manifestation of spatial neighborhood, voronoi diagram weighted figure, to determine the scope and boundaries of space radiation range, calculates the spaceradiation range increment of the city administrative districts and the space radiationrange, comprehensively analyses the factors of forming the urban space radiationrange and space radiation range increment, provides some reference opinions on theregional economic coordination and rapid development of Sichuan Province from theperspective of the differences of the radiation scope of urban space and administrativeregion.
