In recent years, multi-towers-connected high-rise buildings were emerging in major cities as a new structure. Compared to normal tall buildings, the seismic response, excitation background and failure modes of connected high-rise structure are more complex. In this paper, the FE software ADINA was used to investigate the dynamic performance and seismic behavior. Through modal analysis and time history analysis, the flowing work were carried out:1) the study on the influence of connection location on the dynamic performance and seismic behavior of three-towers-connected high-rise building;2) the study on the influence of the stiffness ratio between connection and towers;3) the study on the influence of connection number;4) the study on the influence of the connect style between connection and tower. Based on the above study, the three-towers-connected high-rise building was sampled the continuous beam model, and the analytical solutions of the structural dynamic properties were derived.Comparing the results, the following important conclusions can be obtained:1) when the example tall building is rigidly connected to connections, structural responses are varied as expected because of the change of connection position. The optimal position for achieving the maximum reduction of seismic response is identified, which the connection is located about7/10-9/10H (H is the height of towers);2) The influence of stiffness ratio on optimal connection position can be the2-order above natural cycles decrease with the increase of the stiffness ratio;3) s ur r o u n d i n g t h e be s t l o ca t i o n an d s t i f f n e ss r at i o, wh e n t he co nn ec t i o nn u mb e r be t we e n3an d6, t he d yn am i c b eh av i o r s ar e t he b es t;4) Th ei n f l u e n c e o f c o n n ec t ed s t yl e ar e mo r e o b vi o u s wh en t h e co n ne c t i o n n um b er i n c r e a s e.
