Dynamic star map display system is a core component of the star simulator. In this paper, combined with virtual instruments in virtual reality on the ground to simulate the stars, to make a functional testing for star pattern recognition algorithm of star sensor, and adjust the spacecraft’s attitude control。First, paper discusses the star simulator system components and working principle simulator, imaging principle and analog methods of star map. On this basis, describes the tasks of the dynamic star map display system, which can be as a core component for realizing stellar database query, navigation satellite selection, coordinate transformation, data transmission and the star map display updating. Based on the engineering demand of the simulator which need to be small and real-time, the dynamic star map display system which display stars constitute a virtual reality on the ground environment simulation equipment, combines the Lab VIEW graphical language, selecting the computers can meet the technical requirements, as well as high-resolution and ultra-small liquid crystal (TFT-LCD liquid crystal light valve). Introducing the dynamic star map software system design part, combined with the Lab VIEW front panel, detail are described from the design ideas and algorithms.The paper has a in-depth research on the detection method of the key technical performance indicators, which conclude namely inter-satellite angular distance accuracy and magnitude, to verify the accuracy of the system, and also provide a theoretical basis for the dynamic simulation of star the design and testing.
