In the wilderness optical measurement experiment. the large-aperture collimator performance is influenced by the field-transport and the environment temperature. Based on the large-aperture collimator for mechanical analysis and thermal optical analysis, it can be accurately grasped that the performance parameter of the optical instruments which are under the influence of the field of environment, in the design phase of large-aperture collimator. This paper will give you the mechanical analysis and the thermal optical analysis for the optical system, by using the computer simulation. By the mechanical analysis for the results, it can be know that the affect of the gravity for the optical drive structure is limited, and when the first-order natural frequencies of the modal analysis of the large-diameter collimator exceeds50Hz, the system does not resonate, and it fits the requirements in the wild of complicated topography transportation. In the thermal optical analysis, by using the method of the heat integrated analysis we analyze the thermal deformation of the large aperture collimator’s primary mirror and secondary mirror which is caused by the temperature changes in the environment. Then we analyze the surface distortion of the mirror which is caused by the axial temperature field. What is said above provides the supporting decisions and the scheme of the thermal control for the large aperture collimator which is used in the field environment.
