As the world’s growing demand for energy, offshore wind power industry has beengradually developed. From shallow to deep-water, many coastal countries have developedfloating wind farm. In foreign many achievements in this area have been made, but China isstill at the initial stage. This paper designs a three semi-submersible buoy turbine base, andresearches floating stability performance, sea keeping performance and anchor positioningperformance. The specific work is as follow:1. Stability of floating turbine platform will have a direct impact on the efficiency ofturbine. Firstly, according to marine mobile platform stability rules and stability calculationprinciple, the paper analyzes three pontoon semi-submersible platform stability,and found thegreatest impact tilt axis on the stability. Secondly, this paper divides compartments, analyzesthe different positions of each pontoon cabin damaging, impacting on platform stability anddetermines the extent of damage allowed;2According to the three-dimensional potential flow theory and Morison equation solvingthree pontoon platform wave loads, movement response, and this paper analyzes sea keepingperformance of floating turbine platform, impacting on turbine operation.3Based on the specification to determine the anchor chain design parameters, andplatform horizontal offset of the limit, the paper developed two kinds of mooring system. Themodules Mimosa of SESAM software application in the frequency domain analysis ofmooring system, determine the best design. Do time-domain analysis to select the form ofmooring system, and discuss the positioning performance of the mooring system of floatingturbine in various conditions. Results meet the turbine requirements.This paper provides a theoretical basis for offshore floating platform for offshore floatingwind turbine platform-style design and preliminary performance study.
