| Nowadays, when the influence of the globalization process on architectural design becomes increasingly obvious, more and more architects have been looking to traditional buildings, hoping that they can find out useful and meaningful local vocabulary for architectural design. Because Huizhou traditional residence in history had reached utmost level both in technique and art methods, and highly systematized features had been presented from villages to single buildings, there are significant values to make research in them. As the studies on them go gradually deeper, a large number of on achievements have emerged in the modern extension fields of the physical form and the cultural value. However, at the same time, the researches on the objective laws in the form composition of Huizhou traditional residence through quantitative description are relatively few. In such a background, this paper focuses on the plane form composition of Huizhou traditional residence, combined with the related theory and methods of computer aided design, and investigates new methods of architectural design with regional characteristics under the background of globalization.Based on lots of surveying and mapping materials, and using the combining methods of mathematical quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis of the types of form, this paper summarizes the regularity of the plane form composition of Huizhou traditional residence, from three aspects which are basic cell units, elements of basic cell units, and both of the main body configuration and affiliated configuration. Meanwhile, it transforms the regular contents from words description to mathematics and computer language expression with the help of grammar translation in computer aided architectural design. It also puts forwards seven aspects of plane generative grammar rules in Huizhou traditional houses, such as the base, axial direction, total width and configuration, using space, transition space, courtyard space, total depth and affiliated configuration and so on. On these basis, the plane with characteristics of Huizhou traditional houses has been generated under the condition of the given base through system aidid design and system aidid verification, and the grammar system has also been proved to be effective. |
