| Stilling basins are generally applied in the low-head and low froude numberwater conservancy projects, The characteristics of which is low efficiency, seriouserosion to the shore and even affects the normal operation of the hydraulic project.So,one difficult problem of the low-head hydraulic projects at present times is howto solve these problems of the low-head and low froude number hydraulic projects.The example of sluice is used as study object,the coupling model of VOF(Volume of Fluid Model)and the k-ε turbulent model is used to simulate two-phasefluid of many new type dissipaters. By numerical simulation to new types and SAFtype, the dissipation efficiency, flow regime distribution are compared betweenabove types. Then the best dissipation devices are obtained. Energy dissipation sillis one of the key factors affecting energy dissipation of the dissipation device.Optimized design From installing position of energy dissipation sill, hole centerlinedistance ratio,downstream surface slope and so on in order to improve thedissipation efficiency of hole-pattern dissipater. In the shorten length of StillingBasin cases,compared with the traditional SAF type, the reference value forengineering construction can be provided.The results showed that under the low-head and the low froude number, thenew type dissipater in the pool length shorten15%is as same as the traditional one.At the same time, the new type dissipater has simple pattern, and convenientconstruction.It is relible,safe to use under low froude number condition and can besuitable to be extended in practice。... |
