The place stability evaluation of project is the important content of the site, the goal is to avoid blind construction project in unstable areas, especially significant project (such as dams, nuclear power station, port, etc.) of the project site once instability, which will result in severe consequences, so the stability evaluation is the great project construction of premise. The three gorges reservoir area of the wharf engineering construction will appear a series of restriction of the engineering construction problems:wharf construction form landfill slope and cut slopes of the formation of slope stability problem, wade through the water with the library cause and slope stability problem, drawing on the stability of the foundation. Because of the characteristic of landform, geological conditions, the stability problem will become wharf construction top priority core problem.This paper in my work achievements and research area hydrology, meteorology, and geological disasters, and on the basis of application engineering geological stability theory and method, the area of land (edge) dangerous rock slope, the stability of the foundation, explored in the complex geological environmental conditions within the area of the construction of the dock engineering treatment measures are proposed, such regions in wharf engineering construction measures.The main achievements have be achieved in the following:(1) According to the project construction, dig fill by bad geological phenomenon effect of ground water level, library foundation stability, the influence degree of the site foundation and rock body physical and mechanical properties of study area, carries out the engineering geological division, to evaluate the stability of the site, to lay the foundation.(2) the soil to wade through the shore (edge) slope with the water level fluctuation in library in four conditions of the stability analysis, research the shore (edge) wading soil slope in the library under the condition of the water level fluctuation of the stability analysis of soil reservoir water level land (edge) the influence of the slope. The fording slope is divided into two kinds of conditions in the stability analysis and located on the landslide zone soil slope landslide stability analysis with. According to the stability analysis of the conclusions, puts forward corresponding treatment measures.(3) The research into the rock slope structure types, analyzed the failure mode and failure mechanism, to evaluate the stability of rock slope, and puts forward the treatment measures.(4) The research of proposed projects on the stability of a dangerous rock failure mode according to the classification, according to the failure of the quantitative calculating way stability are analyzed, and the treatment measures.(5) According to the engineering geological division, the site of the stability evaluation, and puts forward the treatment measures.Through this research, summarized and concluded the wharf engineering of existing in the construction of the place stability problem, to the existing and engineering construction will come the stability problem for a more in-depth exploration and research, but for the Yangtze river three gorges reservoir area reaches of geological environment of the pier under similar to provide reference for the construction.
