Based on the Support Project of Sichuan Science and Technology, the current situationof the world’s energy status and the world’s major wind power is analyzed. The trend ofdevelopment for wind power is predicted. The large-scale, direct-driven and intelligent windgeneration system is next developing direction. The direct-driven wind generation system isconsidered to be important research direction in wind generation technology area due to itssuperiorities of being gearless.The system structure of direct-driven wind power is analyzed in this thesis. A theoreticalstudy of the direct-driven wind power converter and control system is carried out. Thehardware platforms of converter and control system are designed. Also a auxiliary powersupply is designed according to the power requirements of the control system. Amathematical model of direct-driven permanent magnet synchronous generator is established.The control strategy of improvement of permanent magnet synchronous generator based onadaptive control is proposed. Its operating characteristics and power relations for synchronouspermanent magnet generator is studied. The design of inverter and control system provides atheoretical basis. The operating characteristics of the wind turbine and its mathematical modelbased on magnetic field orientation vector control technology used in the operation control ofpermanent magnet synchronous generator are discussed. The active and reactive powerdecoupling control strategy is formed.Based on DSP TMS320F2812chip, the control circuit to realize the direct-driven windpower converter and control system is designed. The main control circuit structure and relatedparameters are given in this thesis. An auxiliary power supply of special requirements fordirect-driven wind power system is designed. The schematic and design parameters are given.It can adapt to the ultra-wide input voltage range of auxiliary power. Based on sabersimulation environment, simulation of circuits was done. The results show that the auxiliarypower supply can meet demand.
