Because of our automotive brake master cylinder hole compensation measurement technology behind. In this paper we study a combination of high precision optical and electrical measurement system. The system uses Precision drive mechanism to drive the optical imaging system to get the image information of hole compensation. The use of image processing technology and precision grating detection to achieve a precise measurement hole, diameter, edge chamfer of the compensation. At the same time it can observing the inner cylinder brake master cylinder surface quality. This system has non-contact, high precision, easy operation, high degree of automation features.The first part of the article will introduce the overall design of measurement systems the second part will describe the various components in detail. Finally, focus on the impact of system accuracy and sources of error and the error analysis and compensation.The final experimental results show that the system detects an accuracy of0.030mm, a resolution of0.005mm, to meet the expectations of the design requirements, performance and stability, is a viable method of measurement.
