In recent years, fiber has been used more and more widely to improve concrete and mortar performances. Igneous rock fiber is a novel inorganic fiber. The characteristic to improve the concrete and mortar has important application value. The erosion resistance is an important indicator of the durability. The study of igneous rock fiber concrete and mortar has a very important practical significance. In this paper, the natural chlorine salt environment of the strong tidal estuary is the background, and experiment is the research method. Some properties of the igneous rock fiber concrete and cement mortar have been study, such as erosion resistance, impermeability and chloride ion diffusion. The main conclusions of this study are as follows:1. In the strong tidal and chlorine salt environment, the different fiber, content and different exposure time of chloride ion erosion experiment has been designed and carried out. The chlorine ion concentration of chopped igneous fiber concrete has been tested. The results show that igneous rock fiber can effectively enhance the concrete anti-chloride ion erosion.2. In the natural tidal and chlorine salt environment, exposure experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of different contents and different lengths of chopped igneous rock fiber on chlorine ion concentration in hydraulic cement mortar The result is that the anti-chloride ion erosion of cement mortar can been obviously improved by igneous rock fiber.3. The impermeability of the concrete with different types, different fiber contents and different proportion has been studied by relative permeability method, and the influence of igneous rock fiber to concrete impermeability has been analyzed. The test results demonstrate that the fiber in concrete can improve the impermeability.4. The indoor simulation tests has been carried out in the natural diffusion method, and the influence to chloride ion diffusion of the concrete by the igneous rock fiber and water-cement ratio, and then compares with the testing in natural tidal and chlorine salt environment. The results show that the mixing of igneous rock fiber can reduce the diffusion coefficient of concrete. Concrete is soaked in salt solution for35d, and the chloride ion penetration is similar to the concrete which is corroded in natural chloride environment for240d.
