Flywheel gear-ring and assembly are very important security components in automobile engine.whose working quality and assembly quality directly effect the dynamic and working performance.It is very important to do position deviation detection to the gear face,running-in face.outer ring in order to guarantee the the engine’s rotation precision and extend the application life of the automobile engine.Therefore it’s very necessary to do form error detection to automobile Flywheel gear assembly.First, this paper carries on the theoretical analysis of detection method. Second, designs a laser probe,a positoning and clamping mechanism, a ultraprecise rotary bearings system, a control system,a data acquisition system on the basis of the analysis.and last carries on the analysis to the measurement accuracy. The measurement errors of flywheel gear assembly are less than0.14mm,0.04mm.0.01mm. respectively.This paper designs a measuring device which has very good performance and each index reaches the requirements.This paper has solved the problem of non-measuring flywheel,gear-ring and assembly in automobile factory.The application of this technology is helpful to the improvement of product quality and economic benefits, especially to the automobile industry of our province.
