High pile commonly used in Port wharf, beside bearing the vertical load whichcomes from the upper structure, mainly bears strike of the ship or drift, wave force, wind,transportation equipment, transverse load, bouyance of groundwater and so on. It makesthe stress of this kind of pile be mostly tension and bending, diffrent from thegeneral compression pile. But there are few researches of uplift piles in China so far, ithave not yet formed a set of complete and systematic theory system.This text introduces calculation of bearing capacity of the uplift pile anddisplacement of pile top firstly.The calculation of Uplift pile bearing capacity are mainlytheoretical calculation method, empirical formula method and the static load test.this papermainly introduces the theoretical calculation method. Uplift pile displacement calculationalso have three methods: shear displacement method, elastic theory method and loadtransfer method, This paper mainly introduces the load transfer method. the solution hastwo, one is the analytical method, the other is a displacement coordination method.Thispaper modifies the tradition displacement coordination method,and dose the feasibilitystudy of the modified displacement coordination method through programming by theFORTRAN90. We found that, when the load on pile top is small, the result of displacementsolution of displacement coordination method is nearly equal to the results of test, butwhen the load is close to the capacity, solving the displacement is smaller than the results ofthe test.Using ANSYS imitation calculate the same pile with displacement coordinationmethod, we find that the results were close to the results of test. The reason is that thedisplacement coordination method neglect the displacement of soil and rock around the pile.We can research the bearing capacity characteristics and the chatacteristic of loadp-displacement s curve by ANSYS and the distribution of axial force and the distributionof friction stress of uplift pile.Researching the rock-socketed pile bearing capacity by usingANSYS, by changing the socketed depth, pile diameter, pile length, the elastic modulus ofpile, thre elastic modulus, strength of rock and soil modulus to reseach the bearing capacityof rock-socketed pile, the displacement of pile top and the distribution of axial force and thedistribution of friction stress of rock-socketed pile.
