In view of most raw materials of concrete release agent are mineral oil,we choose green, renewable vegetable oil as raw material to prepare emulsionrelease agent. The best condition of preparing the vegetable oil emulsionrelease agents was confirmed.The stability of emulsion release agent and theaffecting factors of rust resistance while release agents coating on the mouldwere investigated.According to the good lubricity of the silicone, we prepared POSSmodified vegetable oil emulsion release agent and discussed effect of ejectionof adding different molecular weight polymer into vegetable oil emulsion.Also we discussed the formation mechanism of the vegetable oil emulsionrelease agents by optical microscopy. The product was analysised andcharacterization by IR spectra and other methods. The paper work as follows:1. Compound a surfactant according to the hydrophilic lipophilic balance(HLB value) of rapeseed oil, study stability and release effect of vegetableoil emulsion. Optimize the parameters for preparation of vegetable oilemulsion. Also investigate the impact of adding stabilizer for emulsionstability and the affecting factors of rust resistance while release agentscoating on the mould.2. Prepare (solid, liquid) wax emulsion release agent, diesel emulsion releaseagent and contrast their release effect with vegetable oil emulsion.3. Via the reaction of modified hydroxylated vegetable oil and silicone(POSS), a POSS-oil polymer was prepared. Add the polymer into vegetableoil to preparare a release emulsion and study mold release effect of theemulsion.4. Add some polymer (polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, etc.) into thevegetable oil emulsion release agent, discuss mold release effect of thevegetable oil emulsion after adding polymer. Observe a series of phasechange process of the vegetable oil emulsion release agent coated on thetemplate and demonstrate its formation mechanism through the photos.
