Study On3D Numerical Simulation Of The Settling Basin For Oncomelania And The Drawing Water In Middle-level

Water conservancy project combined with schistosomiasis control is a veryimportant for schistosomiasis control. It include rivers and lakes fathering,embankment engineering, irrigation of saving on water, etc. They change the snail’ssurvival conditions, avoid snail to diffuse, consequently decrease the crowdinfection’s chance. the prevention and cure schistosomiasis need to adopt all sorts ofmeasure.The preventing snail projects in sluice include the settling basin for oncomelaniasnail and drawing water in middle-level project. The settling basin can sink andcollect snail. Drawing water in middle-level can avoid the snail in the surface andbottom of the water. At the present time the sluices of small flux mostly adopt thesettling basin project, the effect is obviously. But the sluices of big flux lack efficientmeasures.In this thesis，a three-dimensional is developed to investigate the project of theSettling basin for oncomelania and the Drawing water in middle-level．Amathematical model is built to study the stream structure in the basin, comparing withthe flume simulating. The Turbulence model and VOF free surface treatment areapplied to simulate the Settling basin for oncomelania and Drawing water inmiddle-level with horizontal slope under different flow conditions．The model is firstvalidated with high-quality experimental data，and then applied to investigate theeffect of the junction angle on the flow characteristics．On the foundation of studyingon the two project measures for apply conditions, effect of blocking snail, good andbad qualities, the thesis try to reinforce and consummate the technique for sluicewater conservancy project combined with schistosomiasis control. A discussion of theresults is presented．...
