Study On Image Molding Of City Characteristic Culture

In recent years, China’s urbanization has experienced rapid development, andpeople pay more and more attention to the problem that how to carry out the urbanconstruction. The Constitute factors of city include society, economy, nature, culture,etc., especially the culture as the soul of a city. The thesis focuses on the way to utilizethe city culture, to shift the intangible asset into city entity, and to show the specialfeatures of city culture so as to make one city unique in the urban agglomeration.This paper mainly consists of five parts. The first part makes an introduction to theresearch on present situation of the city culture and comes to a conclusion. In the secondpart, after the research on the previous studies, it makes a brief introduction to thedefinition of city, culture, city’s identity, city culture and image of city culture, and thenmakes a description about the characteristic culture protection process, the importanceof protection, the development mode of the new towns and old towns in the city. At theend, the paper conducts studies on the relationship between the image of city cultureand city construction, the performance of city’s cultural image materialized and thebasic elements of city cultural image.The third part is the core part of thesis. After the research of literature, surveyreport and the city’s development mode at home and abroad, according to differentresources and situation in different cities, it puts forward several mold modes of citycharacteristic cultural image, named the historical cultural shaping mode, the nationalityand folkways shaping mode, the humanities arts shaping mode, the natural landscapeshaping mode, the architectural culture shaping mode, industrial development shapingmode. And then, the implementation strategy of shaping mode and typical cases hadbeen analyzed in this part.In the fourth part, according to the basic elements of city characteristic culturalimage, the paper built an index system. Combined with the specific circumstances of acity, it uses the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process and grey correlation method to chosethe suitable choice of city characteristic cultural image construction mode andcompletes the construction of city constructionThe fifth part is a practical case using citation. Taking Chongqing Ba’nan as anexample, the thesis analyzes the cultural resources there according to the index systemand model constructed in part four to chose the shaping modes in part three and do a research on an accrual city’s characteristic cultural image project.Based on the theory researches, the paper puts forward six shaping modes of citycharacteristic cultural image and the index system and finally recites to a practical casefor citation. The author hopes it is helpful for the city construction and makes acontribution for the construction of city’s characteristic cultural image.
