Wind energy resource is rich in China, and it has an enormous development potential. Withthe improvement and perfection of wind power generation technology, wind power system willbe widespread used and popularized. Wind power plant transformer is the primary transmissionand distribution equipment in wind power system, due to the particularity of its operation anddesign, and the absence of reference standards of some parameters, designers have to design itaccording to their own experiences and actual situations. The design process is tedious and theideal design scheme is hard to achieve, it is necessary to optimize the design for transformer inwind power plant.In this paper, the background of the project is introduced at the beginning, the significanceof optimal design for transformer in wind power plant is discussed, the researches anddevelopments of transformer design at home and abroad are summarized, the defects andproblems in current optimal design are pointed out and the main research contents of the projectare listed.The flow chart of transformer design is given by consulting documents and studying thetheory of transformer. Wind power plant transformer is introduced, its design features andoperational requirements are discussed, and its main technical parameters are determined. Theelectromagnetism design is discussed and the calculation formulas of its main design variablesand performance parameters are described in detail by calculating wind power plant transformerSF9-630/10manually.Particle swarm optimization (PSO) is studied in this paper, to overcome the disadvantage ofbeing trapped in local optimization in basic particle swarm optimization, the idea of the penaltyfunction is introduced and an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm with punishmentfactor (PPSO) has been discussed. The simulation experiments are performed with test functionsand the experimental results demonstrate the advantages of PPSO.At last, PPSO is applied to optimal design for wind power plant transformer SF9-630-10,the selection of optimal variables is discussed and the constraint conditions are processed bypenalty functions, a target function of transformer manufacturing costs is founded. Thecorrectness and effectiveness are proved by comparing optimal design with conventional design.Windows application program based on MFC is compiled and man-machine interface is founded.The design work has been reduced by visual designing. |
