In China, the amount of motor vehicles is increasing remarkably. The growth of the roadtraffic accident caused a huge casualties and economic loss. The security problem of trafficparticipants caused a widespread attention of social all circles,in which drivers and passengerin a high percentage of casualties in traffic accidents. Therefore, it has a great significance tostudy on the injury of driver and passenger in two car collision. Domestic and foreign scholarsstudy on the issue through the following methods: in-depth investigation for road accident;biomechanical analysis research; carry on the dummy collision experiment in vehicle crashlab; the use of computer technology for finite element model and multi-rigid body dynamicmodel. The purpose is to reduce the levels of injury by improve the safety of vehicle andenact better safety regulations. This paper focuses on this problem, launched followingseveral aspects:Designed a in-depth investigation table for road accident.160traffic accidents of thedriver and passenger casualties have been collected from2008to2010. A narrative statisticalanalysis method is utilized to analyses a variety of factors that affect casualties, and get somecharacteristic points. Aim to provide a theory basic and practical reference for this issue.With the160traffic accidents as a database, using statistical analysis software SPSS19,made a crossing-analyze to a variety accidents factors by chi-square test aim to selected keyImpacting Indicator about driver and passenger casualties. Using multiple Logistic regressionmethod establish mathematics regression model of driver injury and passenger injury. Aim toanalyze the number link between each accident factors and casualties.Based on the multi-rigid-body dynamics, introduce a “crew-seat” multi-rigid-body modelwith seat belt. Reference collision speed about ECE regulation and FMVSS regulation, use aroad traffic accident simulation software Pc-crash to calculate dynamic responses andmovement condition of the dummy in three typical form (side collision, frontal collision,behind collision), and expound the link between movement and injury in collision.
