China’s karst is wide, however, there are still many prominent problems in tunnelsconstruction in karst regions. Based on the Dugongling tunnel of Chang(zhi) ping(shun)higway, this thesis tries to explore the existing problems on karst detection, disasterprevention and treatment, and aims to carry out the research through information collection,data summation, theory conclusion, field measurement and experimental analysis.This thesis combines karst geological conditions of Dugongling tunnel with a detailedanalysis of the law of karst development, to illustrate how to grasp the developmentalconditions of the karst in the area of the tunnel from a macro observation aspect. By probingthe practice and experience, detecting the theoretical research and contrasting detection data,the author analyzes the main influencing factors and the interpretation of the waveformdiagram on radar, besides, the author proposes to arrange reasonable time and survey line intunnel construction. Detection of practice has found that the flatness of surface excavationinfluences the results of the radar and the superimposition and coverage of different interfacereflected signal which in front of the excavation face will affect the judgment. To avoid theseeffects, the author puts forward the solutions and holds the ideal that the depth of radardetection in karst area should be superimposed. Furthermore, the author advocates thecombination of the geological radar and advanced drilling and analyzes the rationalexploration depth of the advanced exploration and drilling method from the condition ofconstruction.This thesis analyzes and summarizes some emergency measures on karst tunnel. Inaddition, this thesis puts forward the related proposal that the warning of the advancedgeological exploration results is extremely important and advocates to clearance on the data ofsome emergency equipment. By analyzing the actual condition of the karst tunnelconstruction, this thesis recommends to increase the frequency of monitoring thedisplacement of the tunnel in the early stage and to replace the traditional means ofmonitoring tunnel displacement with a laser real-time monitoring system.This thesis systematically classifies the karst, summarizes the experiential treatmentscheme based on different positions, types and size and somewhat clearly proposes some parameters. In addition, this thesis puts Dugongling tunnel as an example, introduces itsdetection and treatment technology in construction process, which will give reference for thefuture construction of karst tunnel.
