On the basis of detailing the domestic and overseas present status of researches andmethods, the thesis states the deficiency of existing analyzing methods of shear lag, andstudies the shear lag effects on the concrete wide-box girder of single cable plane cable-stayedbridge according to the practical projects. The main contents are presented in the thesis aresummarized as follows:First introduce the characteristics and development situation of concrete single cableplane cable-stayed bridge, and the definition of shear lag effect. This thesis also summarizesthe domestic and overseas present status of researches and methods about the shear lag effectson concrete wide-box girder of single cable plane cable-stayed bridge.By comparing the existing analyzing methods of lag shear effect, the thesis points out theshortcomings and deficiency of bar simulation method, finite segment method, variationalmethod and so on, and the spatial finite element method is the best analyzing method, becauseof its advantages of the high precision and visual effects. This thesis expounds the codes considerd shear lag effect of many countries includingPRC, Germany, the United States, Europe and British. According to these codes, the effectivedistribution width of box girder of a typical cable-stayed bridge is calculated.,and compareswith the results calculated based on the finite element method and the standards related above. The analysis results show that the effective distribution width of roof can be calculated refersto EN1993-1-5:2006, and we can use JTG D62-2004to calculate the bottom effectivedistribution width.Comparative analysis of some parameters is conducted, these parameters including thethickness and layout space of diaphragm plate, distance between cross section and cabletower, cable force size of cables and set position of the cable may affect the shear lag effect ofconcrete wide-box girder of single cable plane cable-stayed bridge, The analysis shows that:these factors influence the shear lag effect of the roof box obviously, but they hardly influencethe shear lag effect of the bottom.
